Bold is offering  online training to all our Gemini customers as a part of their existing support package. The sessions are designed to help customers get the most out of their system. These 'bite-sized' (approx. 30 mins) modules will take place once-monthly, with each covering a specific area of the Gemini system.

Following on from IFSEC 2009, Bold's 2010 IFSEC was another big success, which saw record numbers of UK and overseas visitors on the Bold stand to see the following advances in security monitoring-

• Bold Gemini Multiview for fully integrated CCTV monitoring
• Bold Gemini Locator Module for asset and lone worker tracking
• BoldNet IP Alarm Signalling Solution for transmitting alarms over the IP network

One of Bold’s Technical Consultants, Shaun Gabriel, gave a well-received presentation to an audience of end users and security trade at the Global MS Security Seminar on the subject of security monitoring and integration. The presentation provided an outline of what goes on in the central station without using overly technical language.

IFSEC was different this year because the show was located in new halls and some of the regular exhibitors were absent.  However, those weren’t the only differences as Bold’s industry leading Gemini software was shortlisted for the IFSEC Integrated Product of the Year Award. We had a record number of visitors to the stand who came from all over the world to see what Gemini had to offer.                    

The stars of the stand included –

• New Bold MultiView CCTV module which supports viewing of multiple cameras from different sites and diverse manufacturers’ systems
• Gemini PC Web providing remote access for installers and end-users to their data
• Access Control logging and alarm reporting interface
