Bold RX8000 Multi-Protocol Receiver

The latest Bold RX8000 central station alarm receiver is fast becoming the most widely used and advanced receiver in the world. Supporting all the commonly used industry standard alarm signalling protocols, the RX8000 is the first choice for control room managers requiring a user friendly, easy configurable and high quality alarm receiver.

The RX8000 is a rack-mountable, multi-protocol, multi-mode receiver, expandable to 24 PSTN lines or 30 ISDN channels. The Bold RX receiver range is the most widely used in Europe with most major UK alarm receiving centres having at least one unit. The RX8000 retains the Bold tradition of user-friendly equipment, easily configurable with a free software interface.

Traffic signal levels can be monitored and virtual lines created to provide the most efficient possible use of the unit’s receiving capacity. Not only is the RX8000 able to log signal data, but the receiver is also fully compatible with Bold’s alarm management software Bold Gemini, as well as most 3rd party systems. To ensure trouble-free operation, Bold works closely with all the major Communications Network providers including British Telecom, where currently a joint working party is investigating the implications for alarm signalling of the new 21CN network.
