BoldNet IP Signalling

BoldNet is a simple solution for alarm signalling over public Broadband or private Ethernet Networks. Ideal for both new and existing alarm installations, BoldNet is the dependable answer for secure communications.

IP alarm signalling uses exactly the same infrastructure as browsing the Internet, or connecting to a central server in a large organisation. If the alarm sites that need to be monitored already have network points in place, this can mean a large reduction in alarm signalling costs.

IP signalling sends very small packets of data (266 bytes/status message) so the network is never compromised, and the signals transferred are fully digital – removing any problems of reliability from analogue signals.

All data sent by the IP transmitters and receivers is fully-encrypted to the Advanced Encryption Standard 128 (approved by the US Secretary of Commerce). Any alarm data intercepted cannot be interpreted or forwarded by the interceptor, ensuring the highest levels of protection

With line polling every 55 seconds, and reporting every 180 secs, BoldNet provides a managed, Grade 3 high security alarm signalling solution.

Connected to the alarm panel in the same way as a traditional PSTN digital communicator, BoldNet provides a direct connection for the panel to an ADSL broadband connection and, with the dual-signalling variant, a GPRS connection.
