Identicom Lone Worker Device

The Identicom is a simple, yet cost-effective personal attack alarm design combined with a discrete ID card holder to be worn around the neck on a lanyard or on a lapel using a clip.

Identicom contains a covert GSM module and a microphone. On the reverse of the unit are simple buttons and indicators that allow the lone worker to quickly operate the device in the field.

When worn, Identicom is always within immediate reach to the wearer and, when needed, provides an essential link to help whilst at the same time being covert and discrete.

Upon activation, Identicom will either send a text message to a dedicated mobile telephone number to raise the alarm, or will make a telephone call and allow the operator in the monitoring centre to listen and record the event at the location in real-time. In this way, conversations, verbal abuse or sounds indicating a physical attack, may be recorded and used for evidential purposes.

Identicom works with all GSM networks and uses standard SMS text messaging and voice communications channels. Identicom is therefore a good fit with existing operations and infrastructure.
