BoldGuard protection for empty property
Reported December 2008
The continuing unstable economic climate has seen an increase in the number of vacant houses, offices and suspended building projects. Concern about theft and vandalism from these sites has resulted in demands for an easily deployed and effective mobile alarm system.
Bold, recognised for being committed to providing total turn-key solutions, has once again come to the aid of those affected with their BoldGuard alarm equipment.
The BoldGuard is an easy-to-use portable alarm system supporting up to 32 wireless detection devices, operating over any GSM network and does not require mains power. With easy and quick installation and protected in a robust, compact shell, the unit can be covertly located, safe from attack.
When an alarm is generated the unit signals contact ID to a central station alarm receiver. A SMS alert can also be pre-programmed to send a text message to a mobile phone. The unit can operate for 30 days without power or longer with the additional power pack.
Other features and characteristics include:
- No radio licence required
- Programming via RS232 with supplied software
- Panic button
- Radio remote control on/off up to 100m from control panel
- Lid tamper
- Unit is self contained
- Optional external battery for up to four 4 months mains-free use
- Controls inside are tamper proof and lockable
- Standard PIR, Long range PIRs, window and door protectors, heat and smoke sensors all completely wireless and available with the BoldGuard Unit
The BoldGuard is the ideal situation for any application where effective and easily deployable alarm protection – capable of signalling to a ARC – is required.
