Bold Travels with the BSIA to the Middle East

Bold’s Managing Director Brian Kelly recently joined the BSIA with a delegation of other leading UK security companies for a Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.  The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the largest security markets in the world with, as you may imagine, very specific requirements.  Local security specialists came to see representatives of UK companies offering access control, alarm detection equipment, CCTV, perimeter security, border and airport security, explosive and drug detection, public building security, and fire prevention equipment.

The mission included stopovers in Al Khobar, Riyadh and Manama.  A planned visit to Jeddah was cancelled owing to a huge sandstorm which swept across the Kingdom and grounded all flights for a period.  The event was nevertheless a great success, and will make a significant contribution to Bold’s activities in the region.
