Bold call for DM and Gemini Integration

Central station supplier Bold Communications has launched its latest CCTV integration, with Dedicated Micro’s DS2. Supported by Bold’s new CCTV module, the DS2 is seamlessly incorporated with the innovative Gemini ARC/RVRC management software, launched earlier this year at IFSEC. Functional cameras from multiple remote sites can handled for alarm verification, PTZ operation, guard tours and archive review. From the completely new user interface, which follows the eye pleasing Microsoft Office 2007™ screen styles, an extraordinary range of functions and integration can be accessed. These include not only conventional ‘digi’, IP and Redcare alarm systems, but also SMS Text messaging, exception and process reporting, lone worker monitoring, multi-layer graphics and access control. Any of these technologies can be handled singly or combined to create intelligent response actions in real-time. 

The sophisticated Gemini reporting engine then generates easy to use information, in a variety of formats, automatically delivered as required or to a schedule. The software support BS:5979 reporting compliance for key performance monitoring in Cat II ARCs and RVRCs. As part of the Bold customer service process, Gemini users are taken through the configuration procedure to create a system which works best for them and satisfies their operational objectives. As there are no limits to the number of remote sites, users and remote users or to the interoperability of the system, the customer has the freedom to choose the best way for them to protect their people and assets, and how to handle their data.
