Everyone knows the significant cost of phone lines. A metered phone network is a perfect model of recurring expense generation - costing you money even if you never use it. Your IP Network, on the other hand, generally offers a fixed infrastructure cost within which you can transmit as much data as you wish up to an agreed limit.
