Our Origins

GeminiSense is the result of the merging of Bold Communications and Innovative Business Solutions. For more than 30 years, Bold Communications has been providing alarm communications and management systems for Alarm Receiving Centres, facilitating the detection of fires, intrusion, and panic, as well as providing Access Control Monitoring. In addition, they have extensive experience working with retail, corporate and industrial monitoring scenarios.

Since 1982, Innovative Business Solutions have been providing task and incident management solutions, improving overall security performance and helping customer operations to become more cost effective.

In the beginning, their focus was on streamlining the alarm monitoring at alarm receiving centres in order to increase productivity. They began working with emergency call centres and developed new and improved systems, leading to work with the emergency services and larger security organisations.

The two companies joined forces thanks to the acquisition by Valsoft Corporation who specialise in acquiring and developing vertical software companies. This union has taken security monitoring to a new level, with greater scope for innovation than ever before.

The best of both companies is retained, while advancing the systems so they may be as robust, reliable and easy-to-use as possible, enabling operators to conduct their vital responsibilities quickly and efficiently.
